Alhambra-Eidos has earned several certifications recognizing and guaranteeing the quality of each and all activities and business processes the organization carries out, including non-technical activities.
With ISO 15504, AENOR certifies the maturity of management in our software development and integration processes
AENOR has awarded the certificate in compliance with ISO/IEC 15504 to Alhambra-Eidos software solution development and integration teams in Madrid and in the Software Factory in Albacete (operating under the corporate name Grupo Eidos Consultoría Informática). ISO/IEC 15504 is an international standard to establish and improve the capacity and maturity of organizational processes in the acquisition, development, evolution, and support of software products and services. It is a CMMi-equivalent and CMMi-compatible standard.
The certificate awarded by AENOR corresponds to Maturity Level 2 in an assessment of the maturity of software life processes, according to ISO/IEC 15504 and ISO/IEC 12207 standards.
Thus, it is certified that the organization manages software life processes and that the products of the work are established, monitored, and maintained according to the standards.
This achievement crowns the maturity in this area reached by our teams for more than 4 years. Projects were examined as far as 2005, attesting to the quality in management and applied standards.
The path to ISO 20000
Our company is oriented towards operating excellence, enhancing knowledge about Best Practices in IT Management Services, such as ITIL, CMMi, or the immersion into the ISO 20000 certification. We currently have 2 professionals certified as Lead Auditors with international recognition by the IRCA, an accreditation only awarded to about 30 professionals in all Europe.
As of 2008, Alhambra-Eidos has been awarded the SERVICERT accreditation. It certifies compliance of the communications outsourcing services with ISO/IEC 20000 regarding the service level agreement management process for the provision of the Prinet line service.
We are also certified in service incident management, a very important step in our path towards ISO/IEC 20000:2005, the best quality distinction in IT management that a company may achieve.
SGS has also checked that the service is mostly characterized by the integral management based on SLA, service control and monitoring by a Service Management Office, and HA solutions: multi-carrier and multi-platform communications network.
Once more, with the help of our whole team, we have shown that our management system is solid enough to address daily activities, as well as the control and management of our company. As commented by the auditing firm, the excellent customer focus we display in all of our actions and the high degree of concentration on the work being performed are accredited.
Alhambra-Eidos is ISO 9001:2008 certified since 2005
The family of ISO 9000 standards is a set of quality standards that may be applied to any type of organization. Its implementation implies a wide range of provisions and advantages both for customers and the company itself.
The main benefits are:
- Reduction of rejections and incidents in production or service provision.
- Enhanced productivity.
- More commitment toward customer requirements.
- Continuous improvement.
For Alhambra-Eidos, this recognition is a significant milestone that enables us to attend with full guarantees not only a single business activity, as usual happens in this sector, but the entire set of activities in our service portfolio.
Alhambra-Eidos therefore certifies quality in commercialization, integration, implementation, and maintenance of IT and communications structures, as well as in the design, development, and maintenance of software, IT and communications training, staff outsourcing, and related services.
This accreditation is not perceived as an end in itself. Instead, it follows naturally from the QA system. Thereafter it serves to establish the room for improvement in all of our processes.
Striving for constant improvement, we are implementing the practices established by ITIL, CMMI, and PMBOK for IT service management, software development and maintenance, and project management, respectively. The advantages both for customers and the company itself include, as a main aspect, the decrease in incidents during production or the provision of services, an increase in productivity, and a higher commitment to customer requirements.

- ISO 20000 – Certification in all processes within this standard.
- ISO 27000 – Certification in this standard regarding Information Security Management.
